Maryland Media State Poll (Week 5)

When 24 of the Top 25 win, the net result is generally no movement in the state rankings. There were a few teams swapping spots this week, but DeMatha remains a unanimous No. 1, ahead of Gilman, Quince Orchard, Eastern Christian and McDonogh. The only newcomer this week is Flowers, checking in at No. 25.

FREDERICK, Md. — The Maryland High School Football State Poll, in its 24th year, is based on a statewide voting by sports reporters. Schools are ranked by points received. The number in parenthesis reflects first-place votes. LW is last week’s rank. The rankings are compiled by Sheldon Shealer.
